Non-competitive walks are the soul of running in Veneto: every Sunday morning dozens of groups of walkers and runners meet in village squares for courses chosen on the spot, usually between 6 and 20 km, with refreshment points along the route and entry for a few euros at the meeting point. They are open to everyone, with no rankings and no medical certificate, which makes them perfect for beginners, families and long social runs.
